“Sara and Brooke  are a wonderfully interactive and inspiring duo that passionately care about helping children  to understand how they can make a positive environmental difference. The enthusiasm and motivation following a drama session is palpable  and whether it’s through the support of  parents or teachers – it’s a great way for children to make a connection between their own actions and the impact they can have on the world. Sara and Brooke are professional and dedicated.”

Susan Falch-Lovesey (former Head of Environmental and Outdoor Learning for NCC, currently Local Liaison Officer for Vattenfall Norfolk Vanguard and Boreas projects – 2 large offshore wind projects off the Norfolk Coast)

I have personally met with Sara and Brooke (aka ‘The Energy Rescuers’) on several occasions and seen th
eir workshops and books. They are very professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and their workshops convey a sound educational message in a lively and fun way. All the children I saw them work with absolutely loved their performance and the visit from Rozzie proved very popular.

Comments on Recycling Rescuers Programme

Throughout the whole planning process I always found Brooke and Sara to be professional, enthusiastic and reliable. They fully took on board the brief I gave them and came back to me with some very creative and fresh ideas that fitted perfectly with the messages I needed them to convey. They took initiative when appropriate, progressed things smoothly and delivered exactly what they had promised. (Read more here.)

Thank you for coming to see us, the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed it.

Energy Rescuers Children Illustration 2The children loved the visit from Rozzie the rat and Sara and Brooke.  The energy saving message was reinforced in a fun and interesting way.

A variety of stimulus kept the children entertained. They loved being given a sticker and the booklet. The worksheet was valuable too. All in all, a very good workshop.

Abby couldn’t wait to tell me Daddy shouldn’t take too long in the shower.

Nathan now understands why Mummy is always going behind turning off lights, now just need to teach Daddy

Alice has talked about it all night…she really enjoyed the learning and has been making sure we are saving energy.

The workshops last approximately 45 minutes and they are aimed at primary aged children. The team have trialled recycling workshops across Norfolk and have worked with around 1,000 children.
